The La Jolla Bioengineering Institute invites applications for a post-doctoral position in malaria research. It will involve approaches using the Plasmodium berghei ANKA mouse model of cerebral malaria (CM), particularly physiopathogenesis studies focused on the brain microcirculation using intravital microscopy and the role of nitric oxide (NO), as well as the development of experimental therapies to prevent and/or reverse the neurological syndrome.
