MalariaWorld started back in 2004 as part of the MIMCom project under the National Library of Medicine (Washington DC, USA). It has grown from less than 100 subscribers to 8000+ members as of November 2012. From mid-2007 to December 2010, MalariaWorld was produced weekly by K&S Consulting before it moved to the Dutch Malaria Foundation, a non-profit organization that (amongst other projects) focuses on the dissemination of information about malaria in the broadest sense, with a particular focus on serving professionals engaged in research and control of malaria.
MalariaWorld is a project of the Dutch Malaria Foundation
