Bhutan has made significant strides towards elimination and has adopted a goal of national elimination.
There is significant decrease in the trend of malaria with the elimination at the sight.
This paper highlights on the current malaria situations in Bhutan and its challenges for future prevention and control strategies.
The ARIMA models of time-series analysis were useful in forecasting the number of cases in the endemic areas of Bhutan.
Our studies provide the first evidence in support of one of the indicated treatments with Aconitum orochryseum in Bhutanese traditional medicine.
The aim of this study was to understand the perceptions and practices concerning malaria in Bhutan so as to initiate a basis for further study. This study was conducted from July to August 2007 by using focused group discussions with health workers, community members and village health workers.
