Malaria and Architecture: A new part included

Following the initial forum on the importance of architecture in the design of mosquito proof houses, nearly 500 members viewed the discussion, which is an excellent number to start. Several members actually commented on the blog, with ideas and suggestions.


Now I have added two pictures (sent to me by Dr. Derek Charlwood) of traditional houses from Mozambique, and would like to invite your ideas and thoughts on what could be done to such houses to reduce or eliminate house entry.


To give some suggestions: Channeling odour from the occupants into one direction and build some sort of trapping system there...
